Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using SipDNA (the "App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

SipDNA is a coffee tracking and personal recommendation service. It allows users to log coffees they have consumed, build a personal taste profile, and receive personalised coffee recommendations. The service is available in a free tier and paid subscription tiers (PLUS and PRO).

3. Account Registration

You must create an account to use SipDNA. You agree to provide accurate information and keep your credentials secure. You are responsible for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately at security@sipdna.app if you suspect unauthorised access.

4. Subscriptions and Payments

  • •PLUS ($4.99/month or $47.99/year) and PRO ($19.99/month) subscriptions are billed in advance for the selected period. Prices are in USD and subject to change with notice.
  • •Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the renewal date.
  • •You may cancel your subscription at any time in Settings. You retain access to paid features until the end of the current billing period. No partial refunds are issued for unused time, except where required by law.
  • •If you purchase through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store, their respective payment and refund policies apply.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • •Use the App for any unlawful purpose.
  • •Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or extract data from the service.
  • •Interfere with or disrupt the App's servers or infrastructure.
  • •Create multiple accounts to circumvent usage limits or paid features.
  • •Upload content that is harmful, offensive, or violates the rights of others.

6. Your Content

The coffee entries, ratings, notes, and other content you add to SipDNA ("Your Content") remain yours. By using the App, you grant SipDNA a limited licence to store, process, and display Your Content solely to provide the service to you. We do not claim ownership of Your Content and do not use it for advertising or share it with third parties without your consent.

7. Recommendations Disclaimer

SipDNA's recommendations are generated algorithmically based on your logged history. They are for informational and entertainment purposes only. We do not guarantee that any recommended coffee will be available, at the stated price, or to your specific taste. SipDNA is not liable for purchasing decisions made based on recommendations.

8. Intellectual Property

The SipDNA name, logo, app design, and all associated intellectual property are owned by SipDNA. Nothing in these Terms grants you a right to use our trademarks, trade names, or logos.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, SipDNA shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App. Our total liability in any case is limited to the amount you paid us in the 3 months preceding the claim.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms. You may request deletion of your account at any time by emailing privacy@sipdna.app (see our Privacy Policy for details — a self-serve in-app deletion flow is planned for an upcoming release). On termination, your right to use the App ceases immediately, and your data will be deleted per our Privacy Policy.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms. We will notify you by email or in-app notice for material changes. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance. If you disagree with new Terms, you must stop using the App and may delete your account.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
